Company Profile
Bonvini 1909 is a cultural and creative company that emerged from the restoration of the historic Cartoleria e Tipografia Fratelli Bonvini Milano, a stationery and printing shop founded by Costante and Luigia Bonvini in Milan on July 9, 1909. Originally serving the needs of a growing industrial district, the shop produced a variety of printed materials using machines such as a late 19th-century pedal press, a 1930 Imperia flatbed press, and a 1950s Heidelberg Stella. The business was later run by Leila Bonvini, the founders' daughter, and her husband Luigi Cambieri, maintaining the family’s traditional craftsmanship for many years. In 2014, a group of friends, with the help of architects specializing in cultural heritage preservation, undertook the task of preserving the shop and launched Bonvini 1909 to explore new graphic, publishing, and cultural initiatives, transforming the space into a hub for creativity and community engagement.
