Sedicesimo 25A: Nathalie Du Pasquier

Conceived by Nathalie Du Pasquier, the latest issue of Un Sedicesimo features a dynamic series of collages. Objects from Du Pasquier’s paintings are carefully selected, altered, photocopied, and cut out, then rearranged into new compositions. Known for her work as a designer and founding member of the Memphis group, Du Pasquier created textiles, carpets, furniture, and objects that defined the iconic postmodern movement. After Memphis dissolved in 1987, she transitioned to painting, which now takes center stage in this creative exploration.
