Artist Description

Weaving ocean women. I learnt the practice of weaving with raffia with strong Aboriginal women. I noticed I had a talent for weaving and picked it up easily as it was second nature to me. Considering this practice was done by Aboriginal women for thousands of years, I had it in me. I enjoy weaving and creating beautiful art and jewellery with raffia. It's so nice to see your masterpiece come together. What started out as a strand of a plant, turns into a beautiful woven masterpiece.
